Terms of Use for Pepta
Pepta is a wellness tracking app for people organizing GLP-1, peptide, nutrition, dose, symptom, and progress data. Pepta is not a medical device and does not replace your clinician.
Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and POPFAME LLC, powered by Boltzman LLC technology and operating Pepta under the Boltzman Lab brand ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your use of the Pepta iOS app, backend services, website pages, and related features (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, using the Service, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Medical Disclaimer
Pepta is a wellness and tracking app. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription services, medication dispensing, or emergency services. Medication level curves, dose reminders, injection-site rotation, meal scans, nutrition estimates, protein and fiber targets, side effect logs, stall insights, muscle retention summaries, progress photos, research content, and AI features are informational only.
Always consult your physician or another qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about GLP-1 medications, peptides, dosing, symptoms, diet, exercise, side effects, pregnancy, contraindications, or any medical condition. Never disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of something you see in Pepta. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using Pepta, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the Service for your own lawful wellness tracking purposes.
Your Account
You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, for keeping your sign-in methods secure, and for reviewing the data you enter or confirm. Let us know promptly at dev@boltzman.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.
The Service
Pepta helps you organize wellness information related to GLP-1 and peptide journeys. Depending on what you choose to use, the Service may help you track compounds, medication catalogs, schedules, dose logs, injection sites, relative medication level estimates, cycles, meals, water, protein, fiber, activity, side effects, weight, body measurements, progress photos, face-fullness ratings, muscle-retention summaries, research library articles, reminders, and AI-generated tracker notes.
Features may change, be added, be limited, or be removed over time. Some features depend on third-party providers, network access, operating-system permissions, or paid subscription status.
Tracker Estimates and AI Output
Pepta uses deterministic calculations and, for some features, AI to help display estimates and summaries. Medication level curves are relative estimates, not blood concentrations or clinical dosing guidance. Meal scans, packaged-product scans, barcode lookups, voice meal logs, food search, nutrition numbers, companion notes, and insights may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your situation.
You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, and deciding whether to rely on any generated or estimated content. Do not use AI output or app estimates as a substitute for professional advice.
Subscriptions and Billing
Pepta may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, such as monthly or annual plans. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID, and subscription state may be managed through RevenueCat. The following applies:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting Pepta does not cancel a subscription.
Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by country, region, promotion, or plan. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly for App Store purchases. Your use of subscriptions is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service and any other applicable Apple terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- use Pepta as a substitute for professional medical care;
- enter false, misleading, unauthorized, or harmful information;
- upload content you do not have the right to share;
- upload unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful content;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App except as permitted by law;
- scrape, automate, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
- bypass authentication, subscription checks, rate limits, or security controls.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you add to Pepta, including profile details, logs, notes, meal photos, progress photos, avatar images, audio recordings, transcripts, and other information you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, analyze, transmit, display, and delete Your Content solely as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or submit it.
Research and Educational Content
Pepta may include research summaries, article links, library items, or educational explanations about GLP-1 medications, peptides, nutrition, muscle retention, side effects, and related topics. This content is for general education only and may not reflect the latest clinical evidence or your personal circumstances. Ask a qualified healthcare provider how any information applies to you.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, product names, logos, non-user content, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pepta on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Third-Party Services
Pepta relies on third parties, including Apple for App Store, in-app purchase, and Sign in with Apple services; Google for Google Sign-In; RevenueCat for subscription management; OpenAI for certain AI and web-search features; Together AI for packaged-product label extraction; Open Food Facts for public nutrition lookup; Amazon Web Services for private media storage; MongoDB Atlas for database hosting; Render for backend hosting; Expo and native mobile libraries for app infrastructure; and email or support providers. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, policies, or content, except where applicable law says otherwise.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for your health, medication, nutrition, fitness, or wellness goals.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, health outcomes, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or fifty US dollars ($50).
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, or if we discontinue all or part of the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and may notify you through the App, by email, or by another reasonable method. The Effective date at the top tells you when the current version went into effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless your local law requires otherwise.
